The Regional Unit of Heraklion acquired the H.Y.D.A. Association (Heraklion Association for the Support of Autism Rights)who comes to join them parents, guardians and carers of people with autism, with the aim of securing and asserting their rights and the supporting structures necessary for their development.

His first election of the H.Y.D.A. Association were held at the Labor Center of Heraklion on the morning of Saturday, April 20, 2024.

The first official 7-member Board of Directors and the 3-member Audit Committee emerged from the election process, which took place in an atmosphere of sympathy and enthusiasm.

The Board of Directors: Georgios Spagoulakis – president, Niki Kopakas – vice president, Yannis Harkoutsis – secretary, Nikos Matzavakis – treasurer, Maria Anastasaki – member, Maria Kokosali – member, Irini Pakiufakis – member

The Audit Committee: Stella Markakis – president, Lilian Dafermaki – member, Nikos Saloustros – member

The H.Y.D.A. Association He warmly thanks the Labor Center of Heraklion and its president Stelios Borgias, the lawyer Yiannis Amonahakis, Andreas Kokosalis, Georgia Tsemekidou, the Pakiufakis Printing Office, the Museum of Natural History of Crete and the TEE/TAK for their help.
