As if we don’t know the church’s views on women!

The Metropolitan of Serbia, Kozani Pavlos, from the pulpit explained to us “scientifically” what causes violence among minors. But the fact that women work and don’t stay at home to take their children under their wings!!!

Of course, since children are only women’s and they are responsible for all their problems. It is not the fault of the spread of violence in society in general, it is not the fault of witnessing the abuse of the women around them (mothers, sisters, etc.), it is not the fault of poverty, it is not the fault of fear for the development of their lives, for their upcoming unemployment, for insecurity. It is not the fault of the discrediting of ideas, the push towards individualism. No, it is the fault of women who work, who want their autonomy and independence, who do not accept the only role accepted by the church, that of the mother-housewife.

They are views based on the patriarchal theory, and on the Middle Ages, that spread in our society from the extreme right to unfortunately also progressive parties. They take us back to other times, of miracles and doom that were admittedly very difficult for women!!!

Demonstration of power, bossiness, individualism, imposition, selfishness, lack of empathy, devaluing of emotion, trampling on the weak, are the “values” of our time that whoever does not embrace them must be punished.

It is these views that push our children to violence, to the creation of misogynists, to the hatred of all femininity, to abusers and femicides.

We will always stand against patriarchy and misogyny wherever it appears!!
