A commendable effort by students and teachers
In a commendable effort, the students of the 2nd grade (B1,B2,B3,B4) of 45th Primary School of Heraklion, on Tuesday, April 16.
Specifically, the children guided by the School’s educational staff, in the context of the skills workshops “I’m Interested and Active – Volunteering and Solidarity” , with a very beautiful action, they tried to raise awareness of the local community on the issue of cleanliness. So they visited a municipal park near their School and collected garbage that was in the surrounding area.
Experientially, with this action, they wanted to send a message both to the rest of the children visiting the park and to the adults that “the park gives us oxygen. Don’t make it a dump».
So credit goes to the young students and their teachers who shape environmental awareness in tomorrow’s citizens, who are our hope for a better future.
The action was guided by the teachers: ANastasia Nyktari, Eleftheria Papadakis, Kallia Baltzakis, Andromachi Florou, Spyros Tsikos and Dimitris Bounias.
