Christos Triandopoulos from Kozani: We want money from the European Union to be able to withstand the effects of the climate crisis

--

The Deputy Minister of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection and Member of Parliament for Magnesia, Mr. Triandopoulos Christos, was at the offices of DEEP Kozani at noon on Sunday, as part of his visit to Western Macedonia.

Mr. Triandopoulos stated the following:

“The problems are not within the narrow national perimeter, they are problems that touch all of Europe and beyond. Because as someone responsible for the effects of the climate crisis, I would like to tell you that the climate crisis is not settled, it is not solved by the interventions of only one country, however much it wants to move forward, it needs joint interventions, but it also needs joint resources .

In other words, we want money from the European Union to be able to withstand the adverse effects of the Climate Crisis, which unfortunately so far have not been brave. That is why we want strong representation, the voice, of Kyriakos Mitsotakis, can now be heard not only within the borders of the European Union, but also worldwide, and this is how we manage to achieve things, such as during the corona virus pandemic, the first time I visited Kozani was that day, those difficult days of the coronavirus pandemic, where we had come with Nikos Hardalia. So, it’s an area that’s for the tough, not for the easy.

And you as leaders of the factions, you have demonstrated this in the whole range and spectrum of your activities and I want to thank you for that. And together, united and strong to move forward for the fight ahead of us.”
