The planned test loads at the ends of the cantilevers M4-1, M5-1, M6-1 of the High Bridge of Serbia have been completed

They were completed in collaboration with the A.P.Th. and under the instructions of the scientific managers Mr. Katakalos Kon/nos and Mr. Panetsos Panagiotis programbeamed test loads at the ends of cantilevers M4-1, M5-1, M6-1 of the High Bridge of Servia. The test loadings on the ends M4-2, M5-2, M6-2 had taken place on 09/10/2023 and after the reinforcement operation on the cantilever M6-2.

Also in the next period and possibly on Sunday 28/04/2024, sample test loadings will be carried out on some separate sections and a repetition on the M6-2 cantilever, on which the reinforcement operation was carried out.

In the next period, the result of the measurements made will be available.

All of the above is done in the context of the preventive strength control of the High Bridge of Servia until the start of the project of its overall strengthening and upgrading and after the preparation of the study which will be auctioned in the near future.

As for the rest, the work of waterproofing the deck slab and the proper drainage of rainwater along the length of the cantilever structure continues in order to protect the iron reinforcement and tendons from further oxidation, with a schedule for its completion around the end of May.

The vice-region of technical works of Western Macedonia and the technical service of the headquarters of Western Macedonia in collaboration with the A.P.Th. and the scientific officers work steadily with the sole aim of the safety of passing drivers and passengers.
