As part of its expanded, multi-year agreement COSMOTE TV with Paramount Global Content Distribution, Paramount+, will now be available in Greece exclusively through COSMOTE TV, in a specially configured area in its streaming service and its subscribers can easily find the popular series and movies of Paramount Pictures, SHOWTIME©, CBS and Paramount Television Studios.
Within Cosmote TV one will find hit TV series such as the entire Yellowstone Universe, Halo, Special Ops: Lioness, The Woman in the Wall, Frasier, Lawmen: Bass Reeves, Fire Country and blockbuster movies such as Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning , Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem.
Soon the new series A Gentleman in Moscow, with Ewan McGregor, The Spiderwick Chronicles, the 5th and final season of Star Trek Discovery as well as other long-awaited titles, such as Knuckles, Matlock, the 4th and final season of EVIL will be added. , the 2nd cycles of the series Tulsa King, Poker Face, Colin from Accounts, Frasier, School Spirits, 1923, but also the last episodes of the 5th and final season of Yellowstone, which have already been announced.
As for the movies, in the next period PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie, Mean Girls (2024) and Bob Marley: One Love will be added.
The exclusive partnership is expected to further strengthen Cosmote TV’s position in entertainment content. Confirmation that will also be completed with the new collaboration with Netflix signed by the parent company, Deutsche Telecom, and expected to be extended to Greece within this year.
Let us remind you that the cooperation in question, as announced by Deutsche Telecom, will start with Hrvatski Telekom in Croatia and Magyar Telekom in Hungary and by the end of 2024 it will be extended to the subsidiaries of other countries, including Cosmote. However, it has not yet been clarified whether the integration will follow the Paramount+ model, i.e. Netflix will be offered in a specially configured area of the platform and whether the Netflix subscription will be integrated into the Cosmote TV account.
It should be noted that in addition to entertainment, Cosmote TV emerged as the winner in the second “half” and for the exclusive broadcast of the Champions League matches for the next three years. Specifically, from 2024 to 2027, it will continue to broadcast the football matches of the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League, after the second round of offers in which it participated again together with Mega and Antenna. Mega has retained the right to broadcast one match every Wednesday that takes place in the Champions League. Accordingly, Ant1 enters the game for the first time, having ensured the parallel broadcast of a match every Thursday. The signing of this agreement is estimated to be announced soon.
