The Municipality of Paros has engaged in a promotion campaign for the island, through contacts with Tourism professionals from important markets abroad, which were carried out with the online meetings of the Deputy Mayor of Tourism, Thodoris Bizas, and members of the Tourism Committee of the Municipality.

At the same time, on the occasion of the transfer of the Olympic Flame to the island, representatives of international media have been invited, such as Deutsche Welle as well as others from France and Belgium, with the aim of promoting the island through this important sporting event with a global reach.

  • The new British series of AMAZON will also give a significant boost to the promotion of Paros, the filming of which is expected to take place in May and June in various parts of the island.

The relevant announcement of the Municipality was widely received by almost all the Greek media, while publications abroad with a focus on Paros are expected in the near future, since most of the six episodes of this particular series will be shot on the island.
