He was arrested, in the context of the traffic, on Friday afternoon, in her area Cellby police officers of the Security Department of the Athens Airport Police Department, a 63-year-old foreigner for distinguished thefts subsequently, violation of the law about weapons and revocation of driver’s license.

In particular, the defendant at noon last Thursday removed an amount of money and clothing from a vehicle, which was parked in the commercial park of the Athens airport.

From the preliminary investigation it emerged that the accused was approaching the cars – his targets and at the moment when the drivers were getting out of them, he was putting into operation frequency jamming machines, preventing them from locking. After the drivers were moving away from their cars, the 63-year-old he gained access to their interior and removed various items.

After a search of his home in the area of ​​Kypseli, among other things, they found and confiscated:

  • 3 frequency interference machines,
  • the sum of 5,450 euros, 1,334 US dollars, 20 Australian dollars, 130 German marks and 10,000 drachmas,
  • 27 caskets containing many jewels,
  • multitude of tools,
  • multitude of perfumes, sunglasses, handbags, electronic cigarettes and
  • 6 folding knives.

The car he was using for his travels was also confiscated. They were further clarified two counts of vehicle theft and shoplifting. The arrested person was taken to the competent Prosecutor.
