Under the patronage of His Eminence Metropolitan Fthiotidos Mr. Simeon, the last Last Vespers of this year’s Holy and Great Lent was celebrated tonight in the Holy Metropolitan Church of the Annunciation of the Virgin Lamia, in the presence of a large number of believers.
At the engrossing Vespers, selected speakers, Professors and Hieromonks of the Holy Monasteries of Mount Athos responded with love and respect to the call of the Reverend Mr. Simeon and every Sunday afternoon they offered a spiritual and catechetical discourse of edification, both to the believers present and to his countless listeners Radio Station of the Holy Metropolis, who followed the Holy Masses and speeches through the airwaves and through the internet.
The last speaker tonight is Hieromonk Father Loukas, from the Holy Monastery of Xenophon of Mount Athos.
