They were circulating cocaine – Two arrests at night in Chania

The police in Chania arrested two men late at night, as they were found to be in possession of a quantity of narcotics.

According to his information zarpanews.grthe police at around 3 in the morning, checked a car in an area near the center of Chania and found that two men, a 46-year-old Greek and a 32-year-old Albanian, were in possession of a total of 7 grams of cocaine.

The men were immediately arrested by the authorities and will be prosecuted accordingly.

The Police announcement:

“Two people (a citizen and a foreigner) were arrested today (12.11.2023) in the early hours of the morning by police officers of the Chania Traffic Department, accused of violations of the Legislation on narcotic substances.

In particular, during a traffic control by police officers of the above service in I.X.E. car in which the citizen and the foreigner were riding, were found in their possession and confiscated six improvised packages containing a total of 7 grams of cocaine, the sum of 230 euros as proceeds from illegal activities and three mobile phones.

The preliminary investigation is carried out by the Narcotics Prosecution Department of the Chania Security Sub-Directorate”.
