Paros: The memory of Ag. Theoctistis in I.N. Panagia Ekatontapylianis (Video)

With fervor, piety and the due holy honors, the memory of Agia Theoktistis was honored in I.N. Panagia Ekatontapylianis in Parikia in the presence of a large number of believers, representatives of local authorities and organizations of Paros.

On the morning of Thursday, November 9, an Orthros and High Priestly Divine Liturgy was held presided over by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Paranaxia Mr. Kallinikos and co-celebrant by the Theophilist Bishop of Keramos Mr. Bartholomeus.

After the end of the Divine Liturgy, there was a procession of the Holy Icons of St. Theoctistis and of Ag. Nektarios of Pentapolis, whose memory is also commemorated on November 9, after the Holy Relics.

Touching and full of holy awe were the moments of the procession of the Holy Icons and Holy Relics, with the faithful receiving their blessing overwhelmingly and reverently.

The Senior Minister of Sports Mr. Yannis Vroutsis participated in the religious events, representing the government, who was accompanied by the two-time rowing Olympic champion and head of National Teams at the Rowing Federation, Mr. Vasilios Polymeros.
