We will have rains and storms in the Ionian Islands, Western Peloponnese and from noon onwards the bulk of the phenomena will affect the Peloponnese, the Sterea, Attica, Evia and even the Sporades. In the evening the storms will “split” in two with the phenomena being located in the west of the country, in the Aegean and in the eastern islands.

Today, Friday, November 10, clouds with sporadic rains are initially expected in the mountains of Macedonia and the Peloponnese, but from noon rains and storms will occur in the Ionian and in the western and southwestern continental regions, which will spread to Macedonia and the rest of the regions by the evening of Thessaly, Sterea and Peloponnese as well as in the south of Crete. The effects in the Ionian and in the western and southwestern continental areas will be strong in places and will be accompanied by hail. The concentrations of dust in the atmosphere of the south and west will be relatively high and the phenomena in these areas will have characteristics of mud rain in places.

THE temperature in Western Macedonia it will range from 5 to 14 degrees Celsius, in the rest of Macedonia and Thrace 6 to 18, in Thessaly from 10 to 20, in Epirus and Sterea from 9 to 20, in the Peloponnese from 6 to 22, in the Ionian Islands from 9 to 19, in the Northern and Eastern Aegean islands from 12 to 22, in the Cyclades from 13 to 22, in the Dodecanese from 16 to 22 and in Crete from 12 to 24 degrees Celsius. The winds in the Aegean they will blow from north directions 2 to 4 Beaufort and in the north 3 to 5 Beaufort but from the afternoon they will turn to southerly 4 to 6 Beaufort. In the Ionian the winds will blow from southerly directions 3 to 5 Beaufort and in the afternoon and afternoon 5 to 7 Beaufort but from the first evening hours they will become westerly 3 to 5 Beaufort.

In Attica, according to the Meteo service of the National Observatory of Athens, clouds are expected while rain and storms will occur from the afternoon mainly in the west of the prefecture where there is also a small chance of hail. The winds will blow from changing directions up to 3 Beaufort, but from midday they will become southerly 2 to 4 Beaufort and from the early evening hours 3 to 5 Beaufort. The temperature in the center of Athens will range from 16 to 20 degrees Celsius. Clouds are expected in the prefecture of Thessaloniki, while light rains are expected from the afternoon. Winds will blow from easterly directions at 2 to 4 Beaufort. The temperature in the center of Thessaloniki will range from 12 to 18 degrees Celsius.
