For a number of years co-owner of the popular site epirusgate.gr, he had worked in several other media outlets of the city, such as the TV station HRT and the newspaper “Inemirosi”.
From an early age he had developed political activity, being for a time the secretary of the Youth of PASOK in Ioannina.
According to information, his death was due to a cardiac arrest, with EKAB rescuers trying to bring him back to life, but to no avail.
The news of his death also spread sadness among his colleagues in the Municipality of Ioannito. “There are no words to express our sadness for the unexpected death of our colleague Yiannis Kranos, a worker at the Municipal Radio of Ioannina. There are no words when a young person, a dear colleague, is lost so suddenly… The employees of the Municipality of Ioannina are shocked by his loss”, states a statement of the Association of Employees in the Municipalities of Ioannina, expressing their sincere condolences to his partner , to his family and loved ones.
