Prosecutor’s investigation is carried out after its cancellation competition of the municipality of Thessaloniki by the Council of State regarding the replacement of the shelters at the OASTH stops in exchange for the granting of advertising spaces at the stops.
The decision of the Economic Committee of the Municipality of Thessaloniki, which approved the content of the tender for the rental of 336 billboards in the municipal canopies of the OASTH for outdoor advertising, was annulled by the Council of State, which ruled that the declaration contained “photographic” provisions.
In fact, as reported by ERT, the head of the Appeals Prosecutor’s Office of Thessaloniki, Nikolaos Kallidis, instructed the head of the First Instance Prosecutor’s Office to start a preliminary examination, in order to identify any responsibilities for disloyalty at the expense of the public.
