Following the decision taken by the Board of Directors of the Larissa Bar Association, the abstention of its members from any trial continues today Thursday 9 and tomorrow Friday 10 November 2023.

The mobilization is done in opposition to the announced tax measures.

According to the decision, during the days of abstinence, leave will be granted by the appointed committee:

A. In cases where there is a limitation-time limit issue.

B. In particular, for criminal cases, permission will be granted:

a) When there are temporary detainees and the maximum detention limit (12 months or 18 months) is completed

b) In Misdemeanors when there is a statute of limitations, i.e. when six years have elapsed from the time of the act in the first degree and seven years in the second degree.

Also expressly excluded are the cases of small disputes that have been introduced under art. 486 et seq. of the Civil Code (new system) as well as the filing of proposals, addenda and memoranda within a deadline, which are normally filed without requiring permission.
