An elderly man was sentenced to 16 years in prison without any mitigating circumstances sexual act against minor under the age of 12 and who is incapable of resisting.

The old man was visiting the 9-year-old’s grandparents’ house in a village of Ilia and performed sexual acts against the minor girl. The case was revealed after a complaint made to “Smile of the Child”, with the 9-year-old describing the nightmarish moments she experienced to a social workers.

As pelop.gr reports, the case was heard on Wednesday, where social workers who examined the child testified as witnesses and testified that he told them that the old man he was beating her on the chest and genitals, insulting his sexual dignity.

THE Prosecutor suggested the defendant’s guilt for both acts, saying in her statement, among other things, that “the minor was anxious and scared when she confided what she had suffered and when she learned of his arrest she felt relieved.”

Finally, it is noted that the defendant is over 65 years old, has already served 2/5 of his sentence as he has been in prison for five years and he is expected to be released immediately.
