Through his lawyers, Manos Daskalakis made it known that he is unable to pay a new lawyer to attend the trial, for the murders of Malena and Iris, according to the indictment by their mother Roula Pispirigou, in support of the accusation.
This trial begins tomorrow, November 10, while the trial for Georgina’s murder continues in another room.
“Our principal Emm. Daskalakis, regarding the trial that begins tomorrow (10-11-2023) regarding the deaths of his daughters Iris and Malena, will be forced to request the appointment of a lawyer to support the charge (which he has already stated from the interrogation stage) through the process for providing legal aid to low-income citizens”, the advocates D. Georgakopoulos and D. Karampelas, who support the accusation in the case of Georgina, for the murder of which, the trial will continue tomorrow, alongside the new trial, which begins in an adjacent courtroom.
As the two advocates explain, “this solution became a one-way street, due to the fact that, due to his exposure to the case, he found it very difficult to find work, which led him to very serious financial difficulties.”
“We continue to provide him with our support and legal assistance, and of course continue to represent him in the prosecution of Georgina’s death in the ongoing trial,” the statement concluded.
