The two occupants of the single-engine ultralight aircraft that crashed in the sea area of Chania, in Maleme, were found unconscious.
The aircraft was found sunken half a mile from the beach on the borders of Maleme and Tavronitis, by a private vessel that participated in the investigations and on which was an officer of the Coast Guard-Hellenic Coast Guard.
