THE 85 years old “Grandma Maeve,” as she is called, has done 1,000 miles (1609.34 kilometers) by bike around the Scotland. The whole time he was cycling, was raising money for one charity dealing with him cancermaking cycling part of her life.
Patterson she lost her three children within four years (2012-2016) and only found a reason to live when he got back on the bike and started pedaling.
“If I didn’t have my bike, and this is terrible to say, I don’t think I would want to live. Losing your entire family is just unbelievable. My daughter once said, because a friend of hers had died, “Oh, Mom, imagine losing a child.” I replied, “I know. I couldn’t imagine it.” All my children are gone,” declares “Grandma Maeve”.
