They danced for charity with dozens of Larissa spectators (photo

The people of Larisa had the opportunity to enjoy dances from all over Asia Minor and the Pontus today, Thursday afternoon, as part of the 1st Festival of Traditional Dances, which was held with great success at the Municipal Art Gallery of Larissa – Katsigra Museum.

The festival had a charitable character, as instead of a ticket, the public donated long-lasting food for our flood-affected fellow citizens.

The Festival, which was an organization of the Union of Pontians & Asia Minors of Larissa “Oi Akrites”, co-organized by the Municipality of Larissa and the Deputy Mayor of Culture, was attended by dance clubs from all over the prefecture of Larissa and notable musicians.

The presence of the people, who filled the hall of the Municipal Gallery, was moving and created expectations for more similar musical events in the future.
