THE Hamas is reportedly preparing to release two hostages. It is about an old woman and a young man.
The elderly woman expected to be freed is the 89-year-old, who is Hamas’ oldest hostage and who, in the first videos after the attacks, was carried around as a trophy on an electric golf cart.
The child where will released is 12 years old.
“We are ready to them release for humanitarian reasons when the security conditions on the ground will be met,” said the spokesman for the armed wing of Islamic Jihad fighting alongside Hamas against Israel in the Gaza Strip.
Islamic Jihad provided video posted online showing the elderly hostage and the boy addressing their families. In addition, the hostage criticizes Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu for the war.
