Green light for new hybrid project in Corinthia

Specifically, it is about the construction and operation of a RES production station (Photovoltaic Station with an installed capacity of 60MW) with integrated electricity storage, with a total installed capacity of 108MW using Storage Accumulators, in the location “Chlogos” of the Municipality of Corinthia of the Regional Unit of Corinthia in the Region of Peloponnese.

After receiving the Environmental Conditions Approval Decision (EACO) from the Ministry of Environment and Energy, the project is on its way to implementation. The investor for the hybrid project in Corinthia is the company DIREEN.

The plan for a wind energy project in Laconia is moving forward with modifications

The project includes the installation and operation of two Wind Power Plants (WPPs) with a total capacity of 79.8 MW. The first station, with a capacity of 46.2 MW, will be located at the “Vrysakia – Krani” location, while the second, with a capacity of 33.6 MW, will be located at the “Lykogremos” location, together with their supporting works.

The company launching the investment is “LAKONIAS VRYSAKIA WIND PARK S.A.” and its infrastructures will be located at Vrysakia – Crani and Lykogremos in the Municipality of Monemvasia, in the Region of Peloponnese. Although the project had previously received the Environmental Conditions Approval Decision (EIA) from the Ministry of Environment and Energy, however, at the given time, certain modifications to the wind energy project in Laconia are being studied by the relevant agencies.

New energy storage investment in Arcadia

A new energy storage investment was approved in Arcadia for the project “Individual Electrochemical Electricity Storage Station in the wider area of ​​Doriza, with a total capacity of 250 MW and supporting-accompanying projects, of D.E. Valtetsiou, Municipality of Tripoli, P.E. Arcadia, Peloponnese Region”.

The station is planned to be installed on a field with a total area of ​​112,156.99 m2, of which only 31,246.14 m2 is planned for the installation of accumulators.

The operator of the investment is the company ARKADIA STORAGE M.A.E.
