“There are limits. Adonis Georgiadis’ statement that only those who live in their own microcosm are interested in Tempi today is one of the most cynical and inhumane statements that have been made in the political history of our country,” says Stefanos Kasselakis in his post on Facebook, asking Kyriakos Mitsotakis to immediately remove the minister from the government.
The president of SYRIZA-PS states that Mr. Georgiadis’ statement “insults the memory of the victims. It insults the injured and the survivors who live with the nightmare of memory, many of them with psychological trauma. It insults the relatives of the victims who wake up every day with the drama of loss, combined with the lack of justice and abandonment. It offends all Greeks who are presented by the minister as a people without feelings and solidarity”.
He notes that “the invocation of 41% is not a washing machine for the guilty and arrogant” and that “Georgiadis’ statement creates a major political issue”.
Mr. Kasselakis calls on the prime minister to “immediately dismiss Adonis Georgiadis from his government”. “Otherwise,” he comments, “he subscribes to his statement, embraces the same arrogance and political vulgarity and justifies the title of prime minister of reduced emotional intelligence.”
Ad. Georgiadis: Justice will tell us who is to blame for the accident in Tempi – I stole political exploitation
“The terrible accident in Tempi as such is being investigated by the Greek Justice and they will tell us who is to blame and who is not, the parliamentary process is obviously being done for other reasons, since, before the Justice decides, it has absolutely no meaning, except opposition fuss,” the Minister of Labor and Social Security, Adonis Georgiadis, said earlier in a post on his personal social media account.
In fact, Mr. Georgiadis clarifies that, in his interview with Real FM yesterday, he did not say that “no one is interested in Tempi”, “as is falsely and fraudulently written”, but “no one is interested in the preliminary investigation or investigation for Tempi”. , i.e. “for the political tug-of-war of the opposition parties over the tragedy”.
Specifically, the Minister of Labor and Social Security, Adonis Georgiadis, states the following:
“There is no greater vulgarity and depravity in politics than trying to win votes over human tragedies. In reality, that is, where your fellow citizens are experiencing pain and grief you seek political gain.
This is what I stated yesterday on Realfm 97.8 and, today, with the political exploitation that is being attempted, I am simply justified.
I did not say to Nikos Hatzinikolaou that “no one is interested in Tempi”, as is falsely and fraudulently written, but “no one is interested in the preliminary investigation or investigation in Tempi”, that is, in the political tug-of-war of the opposition parties regarding the tragedy.
This terrible accident as such is being investigated by the Greek Justice and it will tell us who is to blame and who is not, the parliamentary process is obviously being done for other reasons, since, before the Justice decides, it has absolutely no meaning, except for the opposition fuss.
And yet, today, two front pages of supposedly “sensitive” newspapers play on the pain of people who lost their own people, in order to hit the government, proving the validity of my original argument and why they suddenly “remembered” it now in SYRIZA and what purpose they really serve.
We will insist on fighting the daily battle, to solve the many problems that the world faces and that, to solve them, entrusted us.
I do not give my human sensitivity to either the one or the other newspaper and of course I once again express my sincere condolences to the relatives of the victims”.
