Florina celebrated the 111th anniversary of its Freedmen


Early in the morning, the Mayor of Florina, Mr. Vassilis Giannakis, handed over the flag and the parade followed in the central square of the city.

Then, in the historic Church of Agios Georgios, an official Doxology was held, presided over by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Grevena and overseer of the Metropolis of Florini etc. David.

The events culminated with the customary student and military parade on Makedonomahon Avenue, despite the heavy rain that broke out during it.
