The acrobat who fell from a great height in yesterday’s Circo Aquatico Bonaccini performance is in good health, as his address emphasizes in a statement he issued.
The acrobat who fell happens to be the owner and manager of the circus and has only suffered blunt force trauma. Shows continue as normal
Circo Aquatico Bonaccini’s statement reads:
“During yesterday’s (8/11/23) performance of the Circo Aquatico Bonaccini in Agrinio, the artist who was performing the very spectacular acrobatics of the spinning wheel, due to excessive zeal, lost his balance and as a result fell from a height of 4-5 meters into the ground during the show.
Fortunately, due to the special training of the Circus artists and his extremely good physical condition, there were no health issues, other than muscle strains, for this particular acrobat, JURGEN BONACCINI, who also happens to be the owner and manager of the Circus.
Today he is actually leaving the hospital where he stayed for preventive reasons, with the only recommendation being to rest for a few days.
CIRCO AQUATICO BONACCINI performances will take place as scheduled.
We sincerely thank the public and the media for their interest and support.”
