The politician from Larisa, after welcoming the students to the Greek Parliament, explained to them the rules of organization and operation of the Parliament and congratulated their educational companions, Mr. Dimitrios Marinopoulos (Principal of the Primary School), Evangelia Karavakas, Vasiliki Karagiorgou and Aikaterini Mouzala, as well as the representatives of the Association of Parents and Guardians, etc. Evangelia Koulizi and Polixeni Karela for the initiative of the visit of the Nicea Primary School to the Hellenic Parliament.

After the end of the students’ visit, the President of the Education Affairs Committee of the Parliament made the following statement:

“It was with great pleasure that I welcomed today the students of Nicea Primary School to the Hellenic Parliament, who traveled all the way here, as part of the excellent program of educational visits to the Parliament. The students enthusiastically toured the premises of the Parliament and showed great interest in the parliamentary procedures, which I described to them,” adding:

“Children are our future and our hope. We must give them all the necessary supplies, to expand their intellectual horizons, develop their judgment and “unfold” all their gifts. The Ministry of Education and the Government of the New Republic supports the public school, enriches and modernizes its courses and curricula and constantly stands by the students, but also by the teachers, recognizing their great work”.
