The books of Evangelia Damoulis – Filia in Kozani

An event for the presentation of two books by Evangelia Damoulis – Filia, about Mount Athos, was organized by the Association of Letters and Arts P.E. Kozani and the club “Makryiannis”, on Wednesday November 8 in the multipurpose room of the Folklore Museum of Kozani

These are the books:

“Drunken with a wine from Mount Athos”, which conveys the experience of the trip to Mount Athos, by Greek writers.

And “Arsanades and aristocrats”, the book on the historical and cultural retrospective of the French and French-speakers in the Athonian State, from the 19th century to the present day.

The books were discussed by: Eleni Savvidou (philologist, historian), Apostolos Papadimitriou (Electrical Engineer), Ilias Spyridonidis (Doctor of Italian Philology at the Athens University of Applied Sciences, translator, post-doctoral researcher), Eleni Kasapi, (Emeritus Professor of translation at the Department of Italian language and philology of the University of Athens) and Stavros Kamaroudis, former professor of linguistics at the University of Western Macedonia.

The event was coordinated by Michalis Pitenis, Fotini Kamita (lawyer, President of the Association of Asia Minor P.E. Kozani).

Evangelia Damouli-Filia, is a philologist of Greek and French language, author and Doctor of the Ionian University.

Evangelia Ioannou Damoulis was born and raised in Athens. He studied French Philology in France at the Universities of Provence (Aix-Marseille I), Sorbonne (Paris IV), and New Sorbonne (Paris III). He studied Greek Philology at the University of Athens and was appointed as a philologist in Public Secondary Education where he taught, in several schools in the district and in Athens.
