The student branch of the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineering) of the Faculty of Science of the University of Thessaly in Lamia, in collaboration with the Department of Informatics with Applications in Biomedicine of the University of Thessaly, organize the 1The Job Fair Lamia 2023the first career day in Lamia.
The event will take place in its second week November the day 11/11/2023 and will be hosted in the facilities of its building DEVA Lamias.
For the first time in Lamia, the initiative of organizing an event of such a nature and scope is taken, which aims to unite all the students of our city, who study or are graduates of the fields of informatics and mathematics. Its purpose Job Fair Lamia 2023 is the highlighting of all the professional opportunities that every graduate or final student of our city’s departments has, as well as informing them about the current situations of the labor market and their direct interaction with the companies themselves, with the ultimate goal of the future inclusion of students in they.
Throughout the event, we expect more than 10 companies from the aforementioned industries to be hosted in our city, which, in addition to presenting their company profile, will undertake to inform students about the current situations of the labor market and, in addition, about the qualifications that are good to have for their future career path. Through the event, large companies are given the opportunity to enrich their workforce with qualified and full of appetite, knowledge and ideas young people, who are members of the academic community of Lamia!
