The Astronomical Association of Western Macedonia, as the next organizer of the Panhellenic Amateur Astronomy Conference, successfully organized and hosted the Panhellenic meeting of the Boards of Directors of the country’s Astronomical Associations at the University of Western Macedonia.
The main purpose of the meeting was to organize the holding of the Panhellenic Amateur Astronomy Conference. The event took place in a hybrid format, live and online, allowing the participation of people who could not travel to Kozani, making the event accessible and multi-collective.
During the meeting, various topics related to astronomy in Greece were discussed. More specifically, the Boards of Directors exchanged views on the Panhellenic Expedition of Amateur Astronomers (P.E.A.A), on the way to promote astronomy in our country as well as the undertaking of the organization of the 13th Panhellenic Amateur Astronomy Conference by the Western Astronomical Association of Macedonia in 2024 in the city of Kozani.
The Astronomical Association of Western Macedonia expresses its thanks to all the participants and also to the University of Western Macedonia, which provided its space for the realization of this meeting.
