Al. Grigoropoulos: The trial for the prosecutorial appeal in the mitigating case of E. Korkoneas was postponed to 9/1

The lawyers of the family of the murdered Alexandros launched a scathing accusation Grigoropoulouin the decision of the president of the trial to declare abstention and the adjudication of the prosecutorial appeal for the mitigation in Epaminondas Korkonea to be postponed until next January.

Today’s trial in the 6th Criminal Department of the Supreme Court concerned the adjudication of the second appeal brought by the Prosecutor’s Office of the Supreme Court against the decision of the Mixed Jury Court of Appeal of Lamia to grant leniency to the convicted murderer Epaminondas Korkoneas, as a result of which the life sentence was broken and from in the summer of 2019 to be out of prison.

“You are a resident, you are serving the interests of the accused, you are brazen,” shouted Mrs. Konstantopoulou, who was demanding the citizen’s information from the police officers who were inside the courthouse.
