Sta Labor Centers of the region of Western Macedonia, as of Monday (6/11), the names of the first producers from Heraklion who expressed interest in coming land workers for the primary sector, under its pilot programme DOUBLE.
According to data from Labor center of Heraklion, which in the previous days called on the Heraklion producers to express interest in the pilot program that foresees the movement of 500 unemployed people from Western Macedonia to prefecture of Heraklionuntil last Friday 15 producers had expressed interest in order to acquire workers.
Of these 15 it is estimated that around 65 unemployed people have been asked to come in with the majority of producers asking for between two and five workers.
However, the case of a producer from the area of Heraklion who stated to the labor center that he needs 24 workers is typical!
However, as the producers themselves say, who all this time have been living through difficult times due to the lack of workers, the program of DOUBLE it may not solve their problems, however, it will be good next year to implement it more organized and earlier so that the gaps can be filled at the right time.
