Argolis: “Thalis” and “Palamidis” gathered the mathematical interest of 130 students

The Argolis Branch of the E.M.E. was responsible for the organization.

The competitions were attended by 130 male and female students from all classes of Middle and High Schools of the Prefecture of Argolis, demonstrating their love for mathematics and their interest in mathematical science.

The winners of the “THALIS” competition will participate in the Panhellenic “EUKLEIDS” competition, which will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2024.

We thank the Principal of the 1st General Lyceum of Argos and the School Committee of the municipality of Argos, Mycenae for granting the school as an examination center, as well as the Directorate of Secondary Education of Argolis for the help and support.

Also, we sincerely thank all the fellow mathematicians who responded to our call and volunteered to help run the competitions.
