The Mayor of Lamia, Thymios Karaiskos, said in this regard:
“… another project that was designed, studied, submitted for financing by the NSRF, is starting to be implemented.
This time in the heart of Lamia, with an extensive redevelopment of Leonidou Street with the aim of connecting the city center with South Lamia, where the major 11,300,000 budget redevelopment is underway. € through a safe and functional footpath.
I want to ask for the patience of the residents of the area as well as those passing by for the temporary inconvenience that is unavoidable, so that upon completion of the works, we can receive a modern and functional result.
With planning and work, we are changing our city, making it friendlier and more functional for residents and visitors…”.
