Kendrick Nunn arrived today (7/11) at noon in Greece for Panathinaikos and in his first statements on Greek soil he showed awareness.
In particular, the American guard, who was announced a few days ago by the clover, spoke to the media who were waiting for him at “Eleftherios Venizelos” upon his arrival, stating that he is ready to compete even tomorrow if necessary.
His statements in detail
“I feel great. I had a long flight, I’m tired, but also excited. It’s a great opportunity for me. I have played with the small teams of the USA abroad and now I am happy to compete again outside of America. Panathinaikos is a big club, with a very long history. The coach liked my way of playing and I said I should try it. The coach wants me to come and lead the team, score goals and do what I can. I can provide scoring, leadership and do whatever it takes to win.
I can play tomorrow if needed. I’m here and ready for action,” he continued, declaring himself present for Friday’s match against Alba in Berlin. In the summer, things were a bit complicated. I want to do well with Panathinaikos and return to the NBA next year. But first I want to win with Panathinaikos”.
It is not excluded that the 29-year-old American will be in the squad for the match of the 7th game of the Euroleague against Alba, gathering several chances to make his debut as well.
