The Second Chance School enables those of our fellow citizens who, for their own reasons, were unable to obtain a high school diploma, to be able to obtain it through a two-year school program.
In Komotini, in recent years the Second Chance School has seen an increase in our fellow citizens who choose it to obtain their high school diploma. A school that the teachers who frame it produce educational work under special conditions, adapting the educational methods to the particularity of its students, a fact that translates into the increase in enrollments observed year after year.
The Director of SDE Komotini Mr. Ilias Vlachos welcomes the new students of SDE and sends his own message to the people of Rhodope:
“SDE Komotini thanks our 75 fellow citizens who will be the human resources of the A year. We thank them for choosing our school to obtain their high school diploma. The responsibilities are now even greater for the Directorate and the teachers who work and will also work as hourly workers in our school.
Let’s all together lay the foundations so that those of our fellow citizens who do not have a high school diploma can be convinced to enroll in the Komotini Secondary School. There are already 15 new registrations for next year. Registration is open for the entire year. Let’s all work together so that the Rhodope Mountains become an educational point of reference for all of Greece. We deserve it. Her people deserve it. ” concludes Mr. Vlachos in his announcement.
