The Region of the Ionian Islands in collaboration with EOT will be the honored Region at the Greek Travel Awards 2023 event, which will take place tomorrow, November 8, at 18:30, at Six Park Place in London, where the heart of the global tourism industry beats with the holding of the World Trade Market 2023.
The Greek Travel Awards 2023 will be decided by a vote of the customers of ‘Ice Lolly’ and ‘Travelsupermarket.com’, two of the most established and popular price comparison and booking engines for holiday packages and other travel services in the UK. The voting for the awards is expected to act as a barometer for the preferences of the British for Greek destinations.
The Region of the Ionian Islands gives its potential “present” for another year, led by the Regional Governor Rodi Kratsa-Tsagaropoulou at one of the largest tourism exhibitions worldwide, such as the World Travel Market, with the aim of promoting the Ionian Islands to the British media, as well as the promotion to specific groups (target groups) that are interested in alternative forms of tourism. In the framework of WTM 23 the Region of the Ionian Islands will declare its presence to at least 50 representatives of British mass media, Tour Operators and professionals of the British tourism market.
