Mysterious plane took off from Greece and entered Albanian airspace – What happened?

An alert was sounded today in the Albanian air force and NATO after suspicious movements of a plane that entered the Albanian airspace.

The reason and destination of the plane that took off from Chania airport in Crete remains a mystery.

Once it entered Albanian airspace, NATO forces requested information on the plane’s destination, but there was no response, prompting an immediate takeoff from a US helicopter based at a NATO base in Greece.

According to Flightradar data, the mysterious plane has made several turns near the Albanian coast in the area between the mouths of the Aoos River and Durrës. At the time the US military helicopter reached its orbit, the plane was flying at an altitude of 11,000 meters.

Immediately after it descended to 8,000 meters, it is assumed that it had communication with the American military helicopter.

So far there is no information either from the Albanian authorities or from NATO about this suspicious movement in the airspace of Albania, writes the publication of Sot.
