Heavy mourning in Lamia…
The causes that led to the death of the 60-year-old colleague are being sought by the Labor Center of the Regional Unity of Fthiotida in collaboration with the technical department of the Labor Inspection.
As noted in a press release by the Board of Directors of EKPEF, they demand that security measures be checked and, if any responsibilities arise, that they be held accountable.

“Heavy mourning for the working class today, with the untimely death of one more of our colleagues at an asphalt mixing site in the area of Lamia, where he was trapped in a construction machine resulting in a tragic death.
The Labor Center of the Regional Unity of Fthiotida is from the first moment in cooperation with the Technical Department of the Labor Inspection Body, in the direction of examining the causes. We ask that the causes of the accident be thoroughly investigated, to check whether the company had taken all the necessary measures stipulated by law and whether these measures were followed, as well as to assign responsibilities where they exist.
We are deeply saddened by the loss of our unfortunate colleague and our sincere condolences to his family.”
