In an announcement by the Electoral Committee ahead of the elections in the Larissa Branch of the Panhellenic Music Association, the following are highlighted:
“In the Electoral Report G.S. held on November 5, 2023, Sunday at 12.00, on the first floor of the Labor Center of Larissa, elections were held for the nomination of the Electoral Committee in the presence of a lawyer and the following colleagues were elected:
1) Karabasis Zacharias
2) Black Despina
3) Nikolaidis Ilias
And substitutes:
1) Gonelas Nikos
2) Zouka Andromachi
The Electoral Committee decided based on the P.M.S.’s statutes, the conduct of Initiations for the nomination of the Board of Directors, Central Audit Committee, Local Administrative Committee, Local Audit Committee as well as Representatives for the Secondary Bodies (P.O.T.A. . and E.K.L.) on the days:

Nomination applications and combinations of ballots to the Electoral Commission can be submitted by all financially eligible members until Sunday 12/11 at 19:00. Also, for member registrations in the PMS Registry, we are extending the deadline until Sunday 12/11 at 19:00 in order to facilitate colleagues who have been late to register for objective reasons.
On Monday 11/13, the candidates and ballots for the elections will be announced
Every member of the PMS will be able to vote as long as he/she is in good financial condition by showing an identity card or diploma or passport in Athens from 15/11 to 20/11 and in the other branches of Larissa, Trikala, Karditsa, Heraklion, Chania, Chalkida, Kalamata, Zakynthos, Samos, Thessaloniki on the days when they have announced that they will hold elections, as long as they have notified us in time so that the electoral commissions can be informed.
We invite all the members of the Association to take part in the elections en masse and competitively as well as in all the initiatives that PMS takes together with other unions during this time for important issues concerning our work and life! We also attach the announcement of our Association on a very serious issue:
We stand by our colleague, a member of the Larissa Branch of the Panhellenic Music Association, who is at risk with her family of losing their house in an auction because they owed 3 installments to the bank for the mortgage loan.
Together with other unions, on Monday 6/11 we sent a clear message outside the main branch of the “Eurobank” Bank in Megalo Alexandrou in Larissa that we will not allow any family to be evicted, we will not leave “any house in the hands of a banker”.
The family asked not to put the house up for auction and to continue the process of paying the installments, however the answer they got from the “DoValue” fund was to pay 150 euros more than the agreed installments and initially to be fined 10,000 euros. As the colleague complains to us, “DoValue” then hardened its stance even further by asking for 54,000 euros in advance!!!
While Larissa and Thessaly are still counting their wounds from the deadly floods, the banking groups are seizing people’s homes with unabated intensity. The only chance to save our homes is with our own action, that’s why we call for uprising and organization everywhere.
We call on people to reach out to the unions, to organize to ensure that no public house is lost.
The bank tried to artificially create tension between the customers and the protesters who were outside the store by closing the main entrance without any reason allegedly for the “risk of incidents”. Under the pressure of those gathered and the denunciation of this unacceptable action, the entrance was opened. Immediately after, a meeting was sought with the representatives of the fund, who were absent and in the telephone communication with them they maintained an intransigent attitude.
It was announced that there will be a new mobilization on Wednesday, November 8 at 11 am. So we’re giving fellow artists and other unions a competitive meeting in the same space to demonstrate that no one is alone, take it back, we’ll make it!”
