Special plan for intensive traffic policing on specific roads has been designed by Thessaloniki Traffic Directorate, within the framework of construction works of the Elevated Expressway project (Fly Over).

Until the start date of the construction works, staff of the Thessaloniki Traffic Directorate will, as reported by ELAS, inform the citizens – drivers, while, in addition, traffic controls will be intensified along main road axes:

• Road Axis 1: K. Karamanli – N. Egnatia – Egnatia – Monastiriou.

• Road Axis 2: Western Entrance (Old Station) – 26th October – N. Kountouriotis – L. Nikis – 30th October – G. Papandreou – Adrianoupoleos – E. Venizelou – Ethn. Antistasis – L. Georgiki School.

• Road Axis 3: Ethn. Resistance – V. Olgas – V. Georgiou – M. Andronikou – Tsimiski – Polytechnic – West Exit (Old Station),

in order for every illegally parked vehicle to be removed and the entire roadway to be used for current vehicle traffic.
