The Air Force Air Show was impressive which took place today (05/11) in Floisvos, as part of the celebrations of its Patron Saint, Michael the Archangel.

Viewers had the opportunity to enjoy one unique sight. They participated in the event aircraft of all types of the Air Forceof the F-16 Single Aircraft Air Demonstration teams “Zeus”T-6A “Daedalus” and the anniversary aircraft Spitfireas well as civil aircraft of the companies “Sky Express” and Aegean Airlines.

Present at the event were the Minister of National Defense Nikos Dendias, the Member of Parliament for the South Sector of Athens Ioannis Kallianos, as a representative of the Speaker of the Parliament, Konstantinos Tasoula, the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Security and Member of Parliament for the South Sector of Athens Vassilis Spanakis, the Members of Parliament for the South Sector of Athens Anastasios Gaitanis , Dionysios Hatzidakis, the former Deputy Minister of National Defense and elected Regional Governor of Attica Nikolaos Hardalias and the deputy mayor of Palaios Faliros Alexandros Pantazis, as a representative of the mayor of Palaios Faliros Ioannis Fostiropoulos.

From the point of view of the military leadership and the leadership of the Security Forces, the head of the General Directorate of Defense, Vice-Admiral (I) Themistocles Bourolias, and as a representative of the head of the General Directorate of Defense, General Konstantinos Floros, the head of General Directorate of Defense, Lt. General Angelos Houdeloudis, the head of General Directorate of Defense, Vice-Admiral Ioannis Drymousis PN, the head of the Coast Guard – Hellenic Coast Guard, vice admiral L.S. Also present were the Prime Minister’s National Security Advisor Athanasios Dokos, the Mayor of Vari – Voula – Vouliagmeni Grigorios Constantellos, honorary leaders, as well as senior and senior active and retired officers of the General Staff of the Armed Forces and the Security Forces, the president of the Foundation “Aikaterini Laskaridis” and rear admiral e.t.
