The Greek Police last night carried out an operation against juvenile delinquency in Ilion, preventing a last-minute conflict between groups of minors.
In particular, a special operational action for the prevention of juvenile delinquency was carried out last night in the area of Ilios by the Sub-Directorate for the Protection of Minors. As part of the action, which took place in the surrounding shopping center area of the area, 43 people were arrested, while an imminent fight between numerous groups of minors was prevented.

The purpose of the action was to collect information and map the movement of minors who may be involved in incidents of delinquency. According to the Police, the data collected will be the subject of evaluation and investigation for the planning of targeted actions in areas where there is an accumulation of incidents of juvenile delinquency.
As pointed out in the relevant announcement, “similar excursions will continue in the field of preventing and dealing with the phenomenon of youth crime”.
