16,000 kg of mud fell on Odontotos – OSE team performed an autopsy on the train line

The OSE’s reflexes were immediate to the problem that arose on the historical railway line of Odontotos Diakoptos – Kalavrytawhich remains closed again since the day before yesterday, due to the materials that blocked it from the bad weather.

Yesterday, a group of employees of the OSE Patras, with the participation of service agents, was at the scene. According to the estimations of his people, during the downpour a large volume fell, reaching 16,000 cubic meters of mud, mixed with stones.

At autopsy it was found that no serious problem has arisen on the tracks, Nevertheless it will take time to remove the carried materials. However, workers have been cleaning up and patching up some areas while the line remains out of service.
