Special “Working Groups” for pensions and e-EFKA benefits are set up by the Ministry. Work.
In particular, the Ministry Work proceeded to “Establishment of a Uniform Rules Working Group for e-EFKA Pensions and Disability Benefits” assigning work to 15 persons,
but also in “Establishment of a Working Group on the Uniform Regulation of Sickness Benefits and Other Benefits of the e-EFKA” also assigning work to 12 persons.
The first team has the obligation to deliver Conclusion, until 30-9-2024, to the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Security etc. Tsakloglou, which will provide information and suggestions, necessarily, for the following:
- Mapping of the existing rules and conditions for all disability pensions and other insurance disability benefits, of all Agencies and Sectors included in the e-EFKA, including the State and NAT.
- Proposal of a set of new uniform rules for all disability pensions and other insurance disability benefits, to be adopted.
- Costing and economic evaluation of the grid of proposed new uniform rules.
The second group bears the responsibility of delivering a complete and documented conclusion to the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Security, Mr. P. Tsakloglou, by 6-30-2024.
The finding will focus on cash benefits, namely: 1. Sickness benefit 2. Work accident benefit 3. Maternity benefit 4. Funeral expenses 5. Camp benefits 6. Other benefits
All the above fields must be approached in terms of: 1. The conditions for inclusion in the insurance for cash benefits 2. The extent of coverage 3. The amount of benefits 4. The range of beneficiaries 5. The procedure for granting benefits 6. Any other necessary issue.
