The weather today Wednesday: Scattered clouds in places denser – Rains in the west, eastern Macedonia, Thrace

Local rains in the west, eastern Macedonia, Thrace and in places in the Aegean islands. Sporadic storms will occur in the morning hours in the west.

Visibility will be locally limited in the east during the morning hours.

Winds in most areas will blow from south directions 3 to 5 and in the Aegean temporarily local 6 Beaufort.

The temperature will drop slightly in the west and north and will not exceed 24 to 25 degrees, while in the rest of the regions it will reach 26 to 27 degrees Celsius.

Macedonia, Thrace

Weather: Sparse clouds denser in places with a few sporadic rains mainly in eastern Macedonia and Thrace. Increasing clouds from the late afternoon and from the west.

Winds: Variable 2 to 4 and in the east in the morning southeast 4 to 6 Beaufort.

Temperature: From 11 to 25 degrees Celsius. In western Macedonia it will be 3 to 4 degrees lower.

Ionian Islands, Epirus, Western Sterea, Western Peloponnese

Weather: Temporarily increased cloudiness with local rains mainly in the morning hours, when sporadic storms will occur which will quickly stop even from the north.

A further increase in clouds is forecast from the late afternoon and from the north and towards the night there will be local rain again in the northernmost parts.

Winds: Variable 3 to 4 and in the morning hours in the Ionian from west directions 4 to 5 Beaufort.

Temperature: From 13 to 25 degrees Celsius. In the interior of Epirus 3 to 4 degrees lower.

Eastern Sterea, Evia, Eastern Peloponnese

Weather: Sparse clouds in places and denser at times.

Winds: Variable 3 to 4 and in the morning hours in the south southwest 5 or 6 Beaufort.

Temperature: From 13 to 27 degrees Celsius.

Cyclades, Crete

Weather: Sparse clouds in places and occasionally thicker with a few local rains.

In the rest of the country, a few clouds are expected, temporarily increased mainly in the morning hours, so in Thessaly there will be a few local rains or isolated storms of short duration.

In the evening hours in the western and northern continental regions, visibility will be locally limited.

The winds will blow southwesterly 3 to 5 Beaufort and in the southern Aegean locally 6 Beaufort.

The temperature will not change appreciably. It will reach 23 to 25 in the north and 26 and locally 27 degrees Celsius in the rest of the country.
