The refugees are expected to be transferred within the day for accommodation in Heraklion

An “alert” was sounded earlier at noon on Wednesday (1/11) by the local Authorities, due to the disembarkation of more than 30 refugees, on the southern coasts of the prefecture of Heraklion.

According to secure information of neakriti.gr, 33 people (whose nationality remained unknown until a while ago) were located in the area of ​​the Three Churches of Heraklion.

According to reliable information, first aid was provided to the refugees, while the same information states that no health problem has been established for any of them.

It should be noted that the refugees are expected to be transferred within the day for accommodation in Heraklion and – possibly – in the Dockers’ Hall.

It is recalled that earlier today (1/11) at dawn another “batch” of immigrants landed, this time, in Gavdos.

This is a total of twenty-seven young men, who were transferred and are temporarily housed in the facilities of the Children’s camps of the municipality of Chania in Kalathas.
