The general assembly of the Thessaly breeders’ federation met today, in which there was a quorum as defined by the statute and among other things the following were discussed:
“We ask the Minister of AAT to go to Larissa at the weekend so that in a meeting with us he can inform us about the bad payment of the advance payment of the single aid and what will happen from now on. We emphasize that we are also in communication with other breeders’ organizations in the country, considering the possibility of filing a lawsuit against anyone responsible for this payment.
We also request the intensification of controls on imported milk so that they do not end up in the manufacture of PDO products such as FETA and we urge our fellow breeders not to deliver milk with an open price.
Finally, it was decided to hold elections on 3/12/2023 in Tyrnavos with participation of 30 euros and those who wish to be candidates are invited to declare it by 29/11/2023 to the secretary of the federation Mr. Christos Bakhtsivanos (tel. 6934179325).
