Tourism and culture subject of meetings under the regional governor of Peloponnese P. Nikas

The regional governor of Peloponnese, Panagiotis Nikas, presided over a meeting on tourism issues, on the morning of Tuesday, October 31, at the headquarters of the Region, in Tripoli.

During the said meeting, with the participation of Anna Kalogeropoulou, the Deputy Regional Governor responsible for Tourism, officials and collaborators of the Region, the debt of the Region of Western Greece regarding its participation in actions within the framework of the TVEX organization, the last May.

The neighboring Region participated as an entity in the event in question within the framework of a relevant agreement, where it was committed to the payment of the specific amount in order to finance various promotion actions through the TVEX event.

Moreover, it was announced at the meeting that by mid-November the digital platform will be presented DMS (system destination management), while in the same month the last event of the year is planned in its context Peloponnese Gastronomy Festival / Peloponnese Food Storieswhich will take place in Vytina, in collaboration with the Municipality of Gortynia.

Finally, in a meeting that followed on matters of culture, under the regional governor P. Nikas, it was decided that the Region would support events of a cultural nature in all the Regional Units, the most important of which will also be displayed on the electronic signs which the Region has placed at key points of its road network.
