From the Department of Plant & Animal Production of the Directorate of Agricultural Economy and Veterinary Medicine P.E. Ioannina, the following are announced:
Until the November 20, 2023 applications will be submitted electronics for joining the restructuring and conversion program of the vineyard lands for the 2023/2024 wine season.
The program concerns exclusively grapevines and provides support for the restructuring of existing vineyards that are registered in the Viticultural Register, with the aim of increasing the competitiveness of viticultural holdings through the qualitative upgrading of the viticultural potential, the protection of local varieties (Debina, Vlachiko, Bekari), the establishment of grape varieties with increased commercial interest and the introduction of modern viticultural cultivation techniques and the preservation of old ones (cultivation in terraces) as well as the preservation and protection of the environment.
The measures being reinforced are:
- Eradication – relocation (eradication, soil preparation, replanting-relocation)
- Planting new vineyards (soil preparation, planting)
- Revaccination
- Improvement of some management techniques (underpiling, building platforms)
Interested producers can submit electronically the application for inclusion in the HYPAAT, through the digital service of the HYPAAT, Application-Responsible Declaration (Model 1) and Analytical Table of vineyard data (Model 2) for inclusion in the program. The supporting documents required for inclusion in the program as well as the application for inclusion are posted on the HYPAAT website Digital services – Application for inclusion in the Vineyard Restructuring & Conversion Program (http://e-services.minagric.gr) and with telephone support on the four-digit number 1540. The application is accepted when all the supporting documents required to satisfy the eligibility criteria are electronically attached to it.
