Students of the Standard Ecclesiastical High School and Lyceum of Lamia visited the ANTENNA TV station facilities, “KAPA STUDIOS” in Athens, the DIGEA facilities as well as the Village Cinemas of The Mall Athens.

A very interesting educational program for the students of the Standard Ecclesiastical High School and Lyceum of Lamia “St. Vissarion the Agathonitis” was implemented with complete success yesterday at the initiative of His Eminence Metropolitan Fthiotidos Mr. Symeon, President of the School Board.
The students of the School, accompanied by His Eminence, the Director of the School Mr. Ioannis Zacharakis and the teachers, visited the state-of-the-art facilities of ANTENNA television station, “KAPA STUDIOS” in Athens, the facilities of DIGEA as well as the Village Cinemas of The Mall Athens, where they were guided and fully informed about the television production programs, the transmission of the television signal, and the entire process of the television operation.
The visit of the Reverend Mr. Symeon and the entire family of the Standard Church School of Lamia was a return of gratitude and thanks to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company Digea, Mr. Stratis Liarelli, the Managing Director Mr. Nikos Mastorakis and all the executives and the employees of the company, who, on the initiative of Mr. Symeon, had visited the Ecclesiastical School of Lamia, but also donated logistical material for the needs of the male and female students.
The children were excited to see the state-of-the-art and European-standard studios, they talked for a long time with distinguished journalists of major TV channels, but also participated in TV productions and shooting on set on air, seeing up close and understanding the value of the image and the benefits of television, of news and information.
The Reverend Mr. Simeon, following the normal permission and blessing of the relevant Pastor, Metropolitan of Mesogaia, Mr. Nikolaos, performed the consecration ceremony at the facilities of the groups and wished God’s strength and blessing in the work of all the workers.
It is worth noting that male and female students tasted once more the paternal love of His Eminence, as the entire educational program was a gift from His Eminence to the children and upon their return to Lamia, late at night together with their impressions of the educational program they planned together with Mr. Simeon for their next excursion.
